I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and un-seen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ6 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Oops, I didn’t mean to leave that plain fabric in that border! That is better. I do like the first design better than this one though. Another oops … obviously there is plenty of that plain red fabric in my … Continue reading

X marks the spot in the middle! Mm! The X is in a spin. And now it has become some fly-away petals … or something! This is why I love Electric Quilt … it is so much fun to see … Continue reading
I thought the weeks were passing very quickly during the last few weeks of frantic packing. Now they are passing even more quickly during the first six weeks of unpacking. At least I get to take a longer break in … Continue reading
The only reason to make a Log Cabin quilt using all light coloured fabric would be to show off the quilting design. Of course, you can also show off the quilting design if you just use creative quilting on the … Continue reading
I wonder why winter saves some of the coldest bits until last? This series of designs always makes me think of warm quilts of the real kind, not just the virtual designs I share every day. Mind you, it would … Continue reading
It is mid week again, which means time for a very short retreat from the world at large to look at some Log Cabin designs. I like the windmill in the centre of the one above. All the blocks are … Continue reading
