I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and un-seen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ6 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Mid week again … and time to hit the road again. Amazing how time flies when you are having fun with friends … even non quilting friends! It is autumn here now, though we get the wonderful leaf colours on … Continue reading
Middle if the week, time for a short coffee break looking at some Log Cabin quilt designs … and this week they are virtually quilted. I prefer to quilt enough to hold the layers together, but not too much. Too … Continue reading
Another week has raced by … time to share more Log Cabin designs. I feel like I am running around in circles most days … at least the circles in the design above are anchored, which means in theory, they … Continue reading

Just twenty five Log Cabin blocks in each of today’s designs. More correctly, there are 25 Courthouse Step blocks … a slight variation of the Log Cabin block. That makes one of these designs a weekend project to complete the … Continue reading
Middle of the week means it is time for a short break from the world to peruse some Log Cabin quilt designs. Five designs today show a gradual change … each one is just a bit different from the one … Continue reading
Once I learned to throw away designs using just one block a whole new world opened up. Adding some applique to blocks normally pieced adds even more possibilities. Love the first two designs. In a perfect world I would spend … Continue reading
Log Cabin blocks don’t have to be square. I started this project file in 2015, and it didn’t get very far at all before I put it away and forgot about it. I stopped with the two designs above, then … Continue reading
Middle of the week again, and this one has rolled around really quickly. This project file features just one block, repeated over and over, and twisted and turned every which way. The one above is interesting. Love the one above, … Continue reading
