Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Logs on the Road 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
In this project file I am trying to keep the designs simple, by simply using just three variations of the Log Cabin block … the traditional half light and half dark, plus all light and all dark. So far I … Continue reading
Curved Cornerstones 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
Interesting, and I like interesting designs. Interesting again, but it looks like a spider’s web and have no desire to sleep under one of them! The third design still has a slightly webbed look about it, but I like it. … Continue reading
Cornerstones + 76, 77, 78, 79, 80
I cannot remember if I was going to have a square on point in the centre, or four V shapes, but decided to keep it at the halfway point. In my mind’s eye the square looks a little bit wider … Continue reading
Log Heap 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
It is always fun to me to try to mix up something a bit different in old favourites. In the first Log Cabin design for this week there are 52 normal half light, half dark blocks, along with 8 all … Continue reading
Logs on the Road 36, 37, 38, 39, 40
Simple but impressive in my view. All of the designs in this project file are fairly simple, but I like them … … but I am not too sure that the blank space in the centre of the one above! … Continue reading
Logs on the Road 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
I like the first design for this weeks 5 minute retreat from the world around us. Interesting design above, but I think there is something missing. Too much space for quilting, even for me! Like the middle design for today … Continue reading
Cornerstones 61, 62, 53, 64, 65
Oops! We had an unexpected trip away at the end of last year … and during that time we, and friends we were spending time with, got a little confused about what day of the week it was … and … Continue reading
City Courthouse 96, 97, 98, 99, 100
Nice one. This is the final installment from the City Courthouse project file, but I suspect that these blocks may appear in a new colourway sometime in the future. Wow! When you can get results like the one above by … Continue reading
Logs on the Pile 71, 72, 73, 74, 75
It is the middle of the week, and the middle of a real, live retreat for me, anf time to share some Log Cabin designs here so you have an excuse to take a coffee break to look at some … Continue reading
Curved Cornerstones + 91, 92, 93, 94, 95
Middle of the week again, and life is returning to normal in my part of the world, and I haven’t finished digging up and replanting the garden, or sorting out all my EQ block library, or cutting out sashing to … Continue reading
