Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Cabin Mix 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Interesting mix of Log Cabin block variations. Weird but interesting design. Love the one above! I like the fourth one above. And I like the last. More Log Cabin quilt designs mid week, next week.
Beetaloo Logs 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Hot cross buns are now in the shops, so I thought I would add a touch of green as a reminder that St Patrick’s Day comes before Easter on the calendar. It is also a reminder that the weeds are … Continue reading
Log onto Toys 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
Some Log Cabin quilts full of toys for those in the northern parts of the world. I am starting to put the toys inside the Log Cabin blocks. Only doll so far, but I have learned that toys have to … Continue reading
Less Logs for Christmas 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
A very interesting design for any time of the year, in any colours too. A nice neat and tidy design. Same design, with a little bit of extra colour. With only three logs on each side of these designs they … Continue reading
Log Cabin + Dark 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
The + dark is a reference some of the Log Cabin blocks pieced from all dark fabrics, instead of the traditional light and dark combination. Can you spot the difference between the first two designs? I had to look twice … Continue reading
Hexie Logs 31, 32, 32, 34, 35
You can start with a small hexagon, and add logs around it, though in some of the hexagons here there is applique added to larger hexagons. I added some full sized hexagons with no logs, just applique, but most have … Continue reading
Red and White Log Jam 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
A few all dark, or all red, blocks, the rest are standard Log Cabin blocks, and are all made using the standard pieced Log Cabin construction methods. The second design has some all light, or white, Log Cabin blocks, and … Continue reading
Cabin Fever 126, 127, 128, 129, 130
In today’s selection of Log Cabin variations I have used just five variations, and one of them has been used just four times in one design. The changes are rather subtle, but interesting. The changes could be used in real … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Isolation Area 56, 57, 58, 59, 60
As usual on Wednesdays I share more quilt designs than other days of the week so you can have a longer coffee break sometime during the day. This week while you have your very short retreat from the mad, mad … Continue reading
Logs on the Road 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
In this project file I am trying to keep the designs simple, by simply using just three variations of the Log Cabin block … the traditional half light and half dark, plus all light and all dark. So far I … Continue reading
