I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.
Unusual, very nice tho’.

Love any white on color quilts or two color quilts as well. When doing white on color however, one needs to line the white appliques or double the fabric so the color and seam allowances don’t show through. A lot of work, but worth the trouble! Like that light colored one as well. No work clothes allowed!

Averyclaire,
One reason I love virtual quilts is that I can put light colours on dark without problems. In real quilts the light fabrics have to be heavy, or lined in some way, adding to the work, the weight, and cost of the project. Reversing the light and dark cuts out that extra work, weight and cost, but also changes the overall effect. One day we will have access to a better solution … hopefully!

I really love the border on this one! Two color quilts are always eyecatching.

Cindy,
I am enjoying playing with just two colours in applique designs as just two fabrics are usually only used in pieced projects.
