Old German Christmas 1 and 2

Old German Christmas 1

Take a general purpose, every day project, add red and green as the main colours …

Old German Christmas 2

… and you have quits to match the Christmas tree with red decorations.

I appreciate that the tradition of Christmas Trees started in Germany, so nice to include this Old German design in a new Christmas series.

Still accepting comments from visitors who think they might like a PDF pattern pack, both here, on the original notification, or anything in between. (It is for an applique design or three … no instruction, just some ideas.)

PS Spot the deliberate(?) error!

I agree that colors can definitely set a “season” in mind for a quilt and even a country in the case of red, white and blue or in my case red and white!

    • Cindy,

Colour really does set the scene for some occasions, and for Christmas I like the old fashioned red, white and green for Christmas.
