Autumn Patches 19, 20

Very busy, but I like the four plain squares near the centre … somewhere to rest the eyes.

Borders are a great way to make a collection of blocks made for a double bed big enough for a king size bed. I would be happy doing the applique, but would simplify the pieced one.

    I absolutely love the applique border. The curviness of the rope is so appealing set with the straightness of the pieced blocks. I agree the center squares offer a resting place but overall I really like the design especially when I see spools of thread rotating around the center star!
