I started sharing designs from this project file in 2008, soon after I started the blog. I started using individual designs and trying to find names for them, but within a couple of months worked out that there had to be a better way, and started project files with a collection of blocks and kept playing with the same blocks in the same colours and finding many, many ways of arranging them. I admit to being completely and utterly addicted to seeing just what happens as I mix up the blocks, but I am not looking to have my addiction cured.
Lots of space for quilting in the first design, but I wasn’t adding to virtual designs at that time. Took some time to learn what Electric Quilt 5 could do, and still learning what Electric Quilt 8 will do.
Even more room for quilting in the second design!
I have just checked the block designs to see how accurate they were draw. Must have been some real beginner who added them to My Library!
