I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Interesting. The outer row of blocks could be omitted for a smaller quilt … easier than down sizing blocks which have some rather small pieces already.
Interesting. I love the centre block … must play with that to see just what might happen.
Another project file which has been ignored for quite some time. A new version of Electric Quilt is encouraging me to open up projects and give them an airing! I really should take a good look at all the pieced … Continue reading
Another oldie, another goodie! Another link worth a read … this time about quilting a block for somebody else!
Interesting, though there are a lot of points in this one!
I like it … but I may be a little prejudiced as I designed all the blocks. The 8 x 8 blocks refers to the number of blocks and that they are all drafted on an 8 x 8 grid.
Not too sure about the blocks around the outside, but they do create an interesting texture. I suspect that many of my original blocks need some tidying up … I didn’t always set grids as well as I should … Continue reading
Back to the regularly scheduled program without giveaways. I learned a lot from preparing the giveaways … and learned more about how to share them! Thank you to those who visited, special thanks to those who commented. The colour selection … Continue reading
I like the way some of the blocks disappear into the background fabric.
