I like it! Pretty and scrappy, or pretty scrappy.
In the second one I know what I was trying to do by adding the contrast fan fabric, but I know I chose the wrong fabric.

I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.
I like the border of the first one a lot. I swear I am going to make one of these using my scraps. It would be perfect if I could mark out squares to hand sew the bulk of the beads down and then only have a few to sew down over seams when the squares were put together. I can’t imagine trying to mark out the layout on a whole background piece big enough for a king size bed.

Cindy,
You have described exactly how I work on these designs. I have found that I can work on items up to 36 inches square, beyond that I use blocks and add the few beads over seams as I join blocks together.
