Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

An Irish Gardener’s Double Chain 7, 8
Colour are not wonderfully inspiring, though the florals are nice, but the idea is interesting. Might have to try all green for the pieced parts of the designs.
Patchwork Jigsaw 5, 6
A very interesting design! These designs are no where as hard to do if you use the no pins method of joining the two curved pieces. Then I would start at the right hand side and chain piece the first … Continue reading
PJ 1111 Spinning Round 1, 2, 3, 4
A simple 4P block spins around creating a 8×8 Patch block. I wonder how man ways it can spin! Exactly the same arrangement, but with two colours. These first two designs are modified Drunkards Path, and there are a lot … Continue reading
Cornerstone Logs + Black Crows 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
I am not happy with the light side of the blocks, or both sides if they are light blocks, but the results are interesting overall. I recently tried to get a good variety of real black and white fabrics, and … Continue reading
Red and White Patches 7, 8
Very bright! Not my favourite colours, and it is not applique, but I love both designs! All the blocks are basic 9 Patch designs.

An Irish Gardener’s Triple Chain 3, 4
Rather a restful colour combination in this project file. In most of the designs in the Irish Gardener project files I have used applique motifs over the pieced background rather then just applique blocks mixed in with the Irish Chain … Continue reading
An Irish Gardener’s Double Chain 5, 6
I have had a lot of fun using traditional quilt blocks in ways that are not traditional, including Irish Chains. Love both these designs, but I think there are a lot of applique blocks which would work better than those … Continue reading
Cornerstone Logs + Bright Blue 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Impressive. Oops! Can you pick the mistake? I like the design above. Another impressive design. I like all of these designs, and despite not liking blue, I like the colouring. Perhaps it is the purple patches. That is all the … Continue reading

Red and White at Eleven 5
My attempt at designing modern quilts … and the one above works for me. Don’t now if the second design above fits the modern criteria or not, but I love it!
Super 7s 73, 74
I like the first design for today. Love the second design!
