Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Nice one, but a bit late to start it if you are going to a wedding this weekend. I like the second one of today’s pair.
Applique Logs 91, 92, 93, 94, 95
Middle of the week, and I suspect the middle of the year is travelling towards us faster than we would like. However, there will be a chance to have a short break mid week, every week, studying Log Cabin quilt … Continue reading
Log onto Toys 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
Toy soldiers in formation, with the senior officer inspecting from the rear. Now the senior officer is leading his men in a Christmas parade! I love baby blocks as a quilter, and loved building with baby blocks a long time … Continue reading
Log Cabin Christmas Central 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Find the block facing the wrong way! I got them all around the right way in the second one! Yum … lots of gingerbread! Somebody was hungry for gingerbread! Love the setting of the last one! More Log Cabin designs … Continue reading
Pieced, Patched, Pretty and Sashed 5, 6
One of my favourite colour combinations, and I love the results. Love the second one too … no favourite from me, so make up your own mind!
Baker’s Dozen 39, 40
Interesting design from one of my favourite project files. After I selected two designs for today I added three more, and will have another play time after I schedule this post for you, so there is no likelihood of running … Continue reading
Pieced, Patched, Pretty and Sashed 2, 3, 4
Every so often I stop playing with block designs, and play with sashing designs instead. As you can see in these designs the sashing can be used as border designs too. And then of course, you can add some blocks … Continue reading
Gran’s New Fans 23, 24
One of the project files which have been in existence for ten years, and sitting around doing nothing for most of it. Today I am sharing the last two virtual quilts and putting the file into retirement. Mind you, I … Continue reading

Irish Chain and Loopy Stuff 4, 5
Can you see that the applique blocks have squares pieced into the corners? I like the one above … and should try this idea with different appliques. I think I need another seven days in my weeks so there is … Continue reading
