Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

I like it! WOW! Love the second one! It would also look great as an applique quilt.
Black and Gold Petals 8, 9, 10
A little bit of applique plus a LOT of quilting. I seem to have forgotten to add any applique at all, but I love wholecloth quilts! I like the last, but my favourite for the day is the wholecloth design.

White Quilting 10
Quilters don’t always cut up big pieces of fabric and join them back together. Sometimes we use just two very big pieces of fabric and go straight to the quilting. (If fact, the cutting up and joining back together part … Continue reading

Quilting Block by Block 1, 2
The title up the top of this post says Quilting Block by Block 1, 2, but it is really the same design, different colouring. Well, one colour changed! The places which have no quilting lines showing would be filled in … Continue reading
Black and Gold Logs and Lilies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
A collection of layouts suitable for Log Cabin blocks, and some variations of lily motifs … … and time to play is all I need to design some virtual whole cloth Log Cabin quilts. Just turning everything inside out is … Continue reading
Virtual Wholecloth 7, 8
I love whole cloth quilts, but I doubt that I have the patience to make one. Doesn’t mean I have to stop designing them though!

Quilting with Gold 1
Mmm, the gold thread seems to have turned to silver, but I still like the design.

Virtual Wholecloth Sirius 13
If I ever make a whole cloth quilt it will have a simple boring background design between the more decorative motifs … just like the designs in this Sirius project file.

Virtual Wholecloth 6×6 1
LOL! It looks like lace in places, instead of a whole-cloth quilt design! For users of EQ I think it might be that I copy applique designs to create motif or stencil blocks, which means the shapes are closed … … Continue reading

Quentin’s Quilting 7
Not a lot of quilting, but with our modern wadding we don’t need to quilt every quarter inch.
