Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Sewing Machine Day
Today is listed as Sewing Machine Day, but no one seems to know why this particular day was chosen. I have a day out once a year to get my machine serviced about two hours away, and I refer to … Continue reading

Designing Ladies
This is a design which has a long way to go, but thought I would give you a look at it now, and then you will have to wait probably for months, maybe longer, for it to be developed further. … Continue reading
A Quilt a Day Everyday for 366 Days
Quilt layout No 366 ………. a quilt layout a day for everyday of the year, including leap year! (Well, I think that’s how many I have shown here. I have counted several times and sort of gone with the answer … Continue reading
Pot Plant and Peacocks
Well, I was happy with the Peacocks and Blossoms 2 design, but just because I was happy it didn’t stop me trying to make it better. A different border, modified, two birds modified and a potted plant on a pedestal … Continue reading
Peacocks and Blossoms 2
I have turned the border inside out and modified the corners again. Now I’m happy.
Peacock and Blossoms
While I was playing with the Empty Baskets design, I separated the birds in the border, so it could stand alone as a block. Then added a border, modified the border a little, and this is the result.
The Outback Shack
A simple shack in the Aussie bush. I can remember visiting an elderly bachelor in a house in the middle of a paddock when I was growing up. (Of course, I was a pre-schooler so anybody over the age of … Continue reading
