Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Light and Dark Squares 3, 6
Though I have used just two fabrics, this would work well with dark and light fabric scraps if they are well sorted, and all the medium fabrics ae saved for another project. Using one multicoloured fabric is my way of … Continue reading

Tangled String of Beads 35, 36
I love the first design. Enough beads to be interesting, but with some open spaces for some equally interesting quilting. I love the second one too … find a heap of colorful but close matching fabrics, and start cutting, and … Continue reading
Nine Patch Scrappies 8
I haven’t mixed up the scraps enough for it to look like a proper scrap quilt, but I would sort the scraps into very dark, an accent colour for the mid green patches, and light for the background. In fact, … Continue reading
Big Triangles 27, 28
This project file has been hiding away since May, 2013, but I found a few interesting designs I think are worth sharing. These quilt designs are made up of half square triangles, with the intention of using larger scraps sorted … Continue reading
Nine Patch Scrappies 4, 5, 6 and 7
I am trying to find an easy way to use lots of different fabrics in a virtual scrappy quilt. When designing scrap quilts in Electric Quilt I usually design in two, maybe three, fabrics. One light, one dark. When I … Continue reading
