Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Brandis Street Blocks 19, 20
Moved into a house, found a dried up scrap of linoleum in a kitchen draw … and played with the shapes … and I am still playing five years later. Some of the shapes have survived quite a few mutilations, … Continue reading
Annie Clover Quilted 21, 22
I have a lot of project files with many designs I have not shared, and sometimes the file doesn’t get any attention for long periods of time. When I do get around to opening them I sometimes find a design … Continue reading
Aunt Flo’s Christmas 9, 10
I love it! Aunty Flo was not a quilter, but she did do wonderful tatting. At one point of my life I tried doing some tatting, but I was a disaster! All I could do was tangle threads. Love the … Continue reading
Red and Green Quilted 11, 12
Love it! The second almost fades into oblivion compared to the first!
Felicity Anderson Q’n’A 13, 14
Very nice. Also very nice, but I prefer the first one, because it has a diamond!
Kelly’s Custom Quilts 23, 24
Not sure that I got the background colour change right, but I like the design. Deleted the contrast background in some places, but not all in teh second design. Must do better tomorrow!
Gran’s Bead Box 17, 18
Nice one, and it brings back memories of being allowed to play with button boxes when I was little … by my Mum and grandmother on dad’s side of the family. Scattered amongst the buttons were beads, and some of … Continue reading

Aunt Flo’s Quilt 25, 26
Lovely, and this series of designs always reminds me of Aunty Flo’s tatting. I tried to learn how to do tatting, and tied myself in knots, and the thread, but neither me nor the thread looked anywhere near as good … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Quilting 41, 42, 43, 44, 45
The first two designs this week are exactly the same … … except for the quilting. I like the middle of the first, but like the way the quilting emphasizes the diagonal border effect. I like the centre of the … Continue reading
Virtual Wholecloth Quilt 6, 7, 8
I use a lot of background quilting on applique and pieced blocks to fill in spaces around the design, but I also often use plain background for some blocks, and those are quilted with the lines of applique designs. The … Continue reading
