Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

My Bright Blocks 3, 4
Not so basic piecing, with sharp points, curved seams and set in corners … something I would do by hand, along with the applique. Second design is back to basics, but I prefer the first one.

Log Applique Album 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Log Cabin quilts have military precision in the placing of the pieces, add some dainty applique and they immediately look more dainty all over. The precision is still there but certainly allows the soft touch to shine. Love the design … Continue reading
Super 7s OP 25, 26
Not sure about the colours in the first design, but love the design itself. Perhaps it is the applique which makes it a winner for me. Love the centre block in this one … it works much better on point … Continue reading

9 Patch ‘n’ Apps 5×5 15, 16
First one looks neat and tidy, like a small well laid out town if you have an over developed imagination. Town square in the centre housing on each side, parks in the corners and country all round. Love the second … Continue reading

9 Patch ‘n’ Apps 14, 15, 16
Love the first design for today. Who would have thought that such a bland change of background colour could have such a great effect! I like the second one too, but it doesn’t excite me as much as the first … Continue reading

Penny’s Patch Play 17, 18
It is busy, but I like it anyway. Like the second one too … it has room for the quilting to shine.
Back to Basics 25, 26
Not my colours, not my style, but I love it! Still not y colours, more my style, but still love the first one more than this.
Quilting at Eleven 29, 30
The quilting motif in the first design today is based on one of the pieced blocks. I love the flowing lines. The second design has the blocks set on point and looks much busier. My favourite for today is the … Continue reading

Patricia’s Patches 15, 16
Very interesting. I started designing quilts with assorted blocks, but repeating most of the assortment of designs. Most of the quilts I made before Electric Quilt came into my life were all different blocks, in other words sampler quilts. Doing … Continue reading
