Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Patricia’s Patches OP 11, 12
I like the design, and the colours even though I think they would look like Christmas all through the year, but then a little bit of Christmas everyday would be nice. The second design has me thinking that a simple … Continue reading
After Pompeii OP 31, 32
Love the centre of the first design, but I think the Double Wedding Rings in the corners are too dark. Variation, and the corners are too dark in this one too. What an amazing world it is after coffee when … Continue reading

EQ 9x9s OP 22, 23, 24
Basic blocks from the Electric Quilt library, but the design looks anything but basic. Tipping the block on point makes a big difference. So does including narrow sashing between the blocks but using the background fabric in the blocks. Even … Continue reading

Very pretty. This series of designs are based on a collection of blocks, and have kept me amused enough to keep me coming back every so often and playing for a while. Love the second design!

Interesting. Love the second one! The next one is neat and tidy. The one above morphed into a Fishing Cabin project file. The last design for this week’s mid week retreat is interesting … I am going to have a … Continue reading

On the whole I think I like straight sets over on point most of the time, but I still love playing with on point settings. It is worth it when you find designs like the one above!

Hi 5s OP 23, 24
Very interesting start for the day … … but I love the second design. Designs like this make me wonder why so many quilts are made using just one block design, when mixing up some blocks creates some stunning designs, … Continue reading

EQ Mods OP 14, 15, 16
Today’s designs look rather old fashioned, but they also look warm and comfortable. The blocks are from the Electric Quilt block library, but with some modifications. I am sometimes surprised that I have spent so much time making quilts that … Continue reading

Interesting! Very interesting. I imagine that I could get into quite a tangle trying to piece that together!

Basic 9P blocks set on point. In the second design I have removed some colour from four blocks. My favourite is the last one.
