Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Cabin Hideaway 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Middle of another week, and at the rate life is speeding up, tomorrow could well be the middle of next week. The first design for today is interesting. I like the second. Another interesting one. Lots of interesting things happen … Continue reading
Logs on the Pile 61, 62, 63, 64, 65
Mid week again already, and as usual some Log Cabin variations to look at. Some interesting affects in all of the designs. They don’t come more different to the one above! That’s the lot this week … more next week, … Continue reading
Log Cabin Hideaway 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Mid week, which means you expect Log Cabins! This project has a mixture of Log Cabin variations, with a mixture of colourings as well. My favourite of the day. There may be some inspiration for those following the Virtual Quilt … Continue reading
Logs on Point 56, 57, 58, 59, 60
Log Cabin blocks look great when set on point. I would make the setting triangle blocks around the edge by using a bigger square in the centre of the blocks, then cut them in halves. To eliminate the corner joins … Continue reading
Logs on Point 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
Not the most inspired start to this weeks Log Cabin Retreat, which is your chance to sit down with a coffee and view some virtual Log Cabin quilt designs. That is better, but wait, there is more! Number three for … Continue reading
Logs on Point + 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
Oops, I didn’t mean to leave that plain fabric in that border! That is better. I do like the first design better than this one though. Another oops … obviously there is plenty of that plain red fabric in my … Continue reading
Logs on Point + 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
An interesting start to another Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat. If the first design is interesting, this one has to be exciting. With our retreat half over, something a little more mundane. Finishing off with a double dose of excitement. … Continue reading
Logs on Point + Extras 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35
I love what happens when Log Cabin Blocks are used on point. The half blocks around the edge of the design could be replaced with solid fabric triangles in the same, or similar, fabric to the darkest fabric used in … Continue reading
Logs on Point 6 and 7
Wednesdays roll around quickly when you are having fun … and whole months just seem to disappear! I have a certain amount of fun every month playing with Log Cabin designs, finding designs like the one above, all so I … Continue reading
Logs on Point + Extras 1, 2, 3, and 4
It is the middle of the week, so take some time out for a virtual Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat. It is also the start of a period of twice as many virtual quilt designs each day …. concluding on … Continue reading
