Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Logs on the Pile 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
Interesting. Wow! I like the one above, especially the curves in the outer edge! Love the curves again. Interesting. Hard to pick a favourite, but the middle and right of the top row are high on the list! More Log … Continue reading

Log Cabin Mix 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Interesting mix of Log Cabin block variations. Weird but interesting design. Love the one above! I like the fourth one above. And I like the last. More Log Cabin quilt designs mid week, next week.
Log Cabin Baby Blocks 76, 77, 78, 79, 80
I like the first design of this week’s Log Cabin retreat! Not too sure about that dark background colour, but love the windmill in the centre. Interesting. Prefer the one above this one … too much dark in the centre. … Continue reading
Irish log Cabin OP 28, 29, 30
I have a lot of fun mixing unrelated blocks to see what happens. I usually get carried away by the blocks and just go with whatever fabrics I find first, and promise myself that I will play with colour another … Continue reading
Cabin Fever 121, 122, 123, 124, 125
Very interesting! I have turned eight blocks around, and not anywhere near as interesting. Not too sure that I like the design above, but it might appeal to some people. Like the one above … not too fussy, almost simple, … Continue reading
Logs at Lochiel 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
We have spent a very quiet Christmas, but a quiet coffee break to concentrate for a few minutes sounds rather nice. I have only occasionally seen pretty colours used in Log Cabin quilts, but they can look very pretty! The … Continue reading
Log Cabin Mixed 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
This week’s Log Cabin project file has a collection of different Log Cabin blocks, and the design above is mostly Chimney’s and Cornerstones with and without curves. I like the first design! Still lots of Chimneys and Cornerstones in the … Continue reading
Log Cabin Leaf Central 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
It is now autumn down under, which means a large proportion of the land is brown after a long, hot summer, and in a small part of the country imported trees from the upper half of earth are showing their … Continue reading
Cornerstones 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
Sometimes I ignore some of the more basic project files for months at a time, then when I open them up I see designs which I still love. This file was opened last when I set up a new computer … Continue reading
Framed by Logs 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Middle of the week again … time to share some quilt designs based on Log Cabin blocks. These designs are for frames, created by twisting and turning a variety of Log Cabin block variations. Next week I will add pieced … Continue reading
