Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Cornerstones 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
Not my favourite colours, but I like the design. I like the second one too. I love playing with contrast and design … colour is a more personal choice. The middle one of today’s designs is OK, but doesn’t excite … Continue reading
Logs on Point 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
Interesting. Love the second one! The next one is neat and tidy. The one above morphed into a Fishing Cabin project file. The last design for this week’s mid week retreat is interesting … I am going to have a … Continue reading
Log Jam 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
Colours are not all that appealing, but I love a couple of designs I am sharing today, including the one above. I love the one above simply because it is made up of traditional Log Cabin blocks, half light, half … Continue reading
Logs in the Pale 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
When selecting and sorting colours for Log Cabin quilts, you need to have a good contrast between the light and dark sides … … but that doesn’t mean you have to use black and white. It is important thing to to keep … Continue reading
Logs in the Pale 11
Ooops! Went outside to water the garden and forgot about it being the middle of the week, and you might be waiting for your break away from the humdrum by looking at a small collection of Log Cabin designs. I … Continue reading
Logs on the Pile 42, 43, 44, 45
Interesting! Not a big change, and it is still interesting. More change this time, but not sure that I like it as much as the first two. Another interesting one, but I prefer the first two. As always, more next … Continue reading
Logs in the Pale 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Time for another mid week Log Cabin retreat, though it seems like just a couple of days since the last retreat. That is because I really retreated over the weekend with 38 other quilters. We ate well, we talked, we … Continue reading
Curved Cornerstones + 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
I am still surprised how well the curves work in this project file. Especially when those curves are created using straight lines. I am not sure why I saved the one above, except that it is a great starting point … Continue reading
Log Cabin Blues 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34
Sixty four Log Cabin blocks … size of blocks optional … just the layout varies in six designs today. I like the first one, and the second … … and the third. I can’t pick a favourite yet. Another interesting … Continue reading
TNT Logs + 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
I love sharing Log Cabin quilt designs mid week, every week, but why are there so few days between the middle of the weeks? Or are the days only missing in my little corner of the world? Love the one … Continue reading
