I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and un-seen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ6 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Cabin blocks can create some wonderful designs in well coordinated fabrics, and the seam lines make a useful guide to quilting … but boring without a bit of contrast somewhere. I like the contrast of the straight seam lines … Continue reading
I like the idea of filling some of the lighter areas of Log Cabin quilts with some curved lines, but keeping most of the quilting on the straight and narrow, following the block design. I like both of the above. … Continue reading
Middle of the week, so time to share some Log Cabin designs. Looks like the mice started eating the corners, but love the design overall. Love this one … … and here is the inside out view! This project file … Continue reading
It was the middle of the week, last week, when this should have appeared … but I was not only living without a surplus of electricity, but spent this day as kitchen maid to the shearer’s cook. The first three … Continue reading
Mid week again … and time to hit the road again. Amazing how time flies when you are having fun with friends … even non quilting friends! It is autumn here now, though we get the wonderful leaf colours on … Continue reading
I love low contrast, and am amazed at how effective it can be. The first four designs are rather similar, with just minor changes … the sort of changes we might have to make because we made four blocks using … Continue reading
Once I learned to throw away designs using just one block a whole new world opened up. Adding some applique to blocks normally pieced adds even more possibilities. Love the first two designs. In a perfect world I would spend … Continue reading
In just one week Christmas will be over, but today you can take a few minutes to examine five Log Cabin Quilt designs. Small changes, and I like the new version. Another variation, but I like the second one better, … Continue reading
Very interesting! More interesting! Just … interesting. Very interesting! Love the last one! More virtual Log Cabin quilt variations next week, mid week, for a short retreat away from the real world.
