Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Cabin Baby Blocks 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
I thought the weeks were passing very quickly during the last few weeks of frantic packing. Now they are passing even more quickly during the first six weeks of unpacking. At least I get to take a longer break in … Continue reading
Logs on the Pile 42, 43, 44, 45
Interesting! Not a big change, and it is still interesting. More change this time, but not sure that I like it as much as the first two. Another interesting one, but I prefer the first two. As always, more next … Continue reading
Log Cabin Quilting 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
The colours are not the most inspiring I could have used, but they show clearly what I have done with the quilting layer of the design. I have a limited variety of quilting aimed specifically for Log Cabin quilts … … Continue reading
Curved Cornerstones 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24
Log Cabin blocks are constructed with squares and rectangles … no curves … but with a bit of a twist to some of the variations of the basic design we can make spiderwebs. Or perhaps it is just tying shapes … Continue reading
Logs on Point + 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
An interesting start to another Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat. If the first design is interesting, this one has to be exciting. With our retreat half over, something a little more mundane. Finishing off with a double dose of excitement. … Continue reading
Curved Cornerstones + 46, 47, 48, 49,
Looks like a stack of crowns in each corner. Perhaps we could have this Log Cabin mid week retreat in a palace. Much more conventional layout, but not the usual blocks. Like this one! Love it! Worthy of being surrounded … Continue reading
TNT Log Jam 61, 62, 63, 64, 65
Interesting. More interesting. The one above is almost mundane in this company. I like it! I like it like that too!
Log Cabin Baby Blocks 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Thank goodness it is Wednesday, middle of the week, so I can retreat … after the last couple of weeks I need to retreat from food, family and friends for some quiet times. (It was fun while it lasted though!) … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Middle of the week again … too soon! I wonder if I can turn those ‘leaves’ in the corners into holly leaves using Log Cabin block variations. I can’t see a way at the moment, but something to think about!
Logs on Point in Purple 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Interesting … intersection? Well, if the first one is an intersection, this one is the town square. Or maybe this one is this one is the town square. The one above is just simply a very interesting Log Cabin Quilt with … Continue reading
