Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Irish log Cabin OP 26, 27, 28
A Single Irish Chain block is pieced like a Chimneys and Cornerstones, a variation of the Log Cabin block, so it seemed logical to me to colour the Irish Chain blocks like a Cornerstones block … and mix in the … Continue reading

Log Cabin Baby Blocks 51, 52, 53, 54, 55
Love it! Today’s designs are all very similar, with the colour placement being the most noticeable changes. Middle one is the design which is rather different to the other four. Love the one above too … the centre could be … Continue reading
Cornerstones 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
I decided that I wanted to give this series a new colour scheme … I have tried several, and haven’t found one which I love yet, but decided to share some of those I am trying to modify. I find … Continue reading
Log Jam 86, 87, 88, 89, 90
I like it! Colours are not inspiring, but the design works. Don’t like this one as much as the first one! That is better! Not my favourite! And the last one for this week’s Log Cabin Mid Week Retreat is … Continue reading

Log Cabin Baby Blocks 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
I am not sure that a log cabin with so many sharp corners would be easy to furnish, but a Log Cabin quilt would be warm and cosy. The one above has some wonderful shapes to show off some interesting … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Quilted 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Middle if the week, time for a short coffee break looking at some Log Cabin quilt designs … and this week they are virtually quilted. I prefer to quilt enough to hold the layers together, but not too much. Too … Continue reading
Multi Colour Cabin 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Did you notice how slowly the last week passed? It feels like two weeks since we had a mid week virtual Log Cabin Retreat. Wish forgetting to put up some Log Cabin designs was all it took to slow down … Continue reading
