Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Irish log Cabin OP 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
I created this project file several years ago when St Patrick’s Day fell on a Wednesday, but I really must open it up more often, as my Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat and St Pat don’t often coincide. Who would … Continue reading

Not my most inspiring design. Looks like a good utility quilt … the sort you could take on a picnic and not worry too much about it getting dirty.

I love it. It is enough to stir the tiny bit of Irish blood in my reasonably well diluted bloodline!
Irish Chain and Loopy Stuff 3, 4
I am trying to work out which one I like best, and cannot make up my mind. Light or dark? I think I am wavering towards the darker version.
Burgoyne Surrounded by Irish 50
I enjoy playing with Irish Chain blocks … and still have many unseen to share. Now I have opened this project file there may be more in the immediate future. I have opened an EQ7 file and introduced it to … Continue reading

I like it! If I was going to make this virtual quilt real I would purchase fabric for the red and black, then carefully sort scraps for the medium pieces, and maybe even the background too. PS. Can you pick … Continue reading

Simple, clean and very stylish … would look good in bright modern colours too. And lots of room for quilting

Love how effective just those four tiny appliques are! All the quilting designs use shapes from those little appliques.

Single, Double and Triple Irish Chain blocks combined … works for me.
