Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Desert Flora 3, 4
A reminder to me … plant those seeds soon! Need to find a rather dry corner of the garden. Memories of home include Sturt Desert Peas near the back door every year! If all else fails I might have to … Continue reading
Baltimore to Burke
Happy Australia Day! This is a long term project file in which I am trying to design a quilt in the style of the Baltimore quilts but with an Australian theme, but I keep adding borders so it is more … Continue reading
Bush Garland 5, 6
Can you name the flowers? How about the animals? The Australian bush is anything but neat and formal like these quilts, but the flowers are stunning.

Wattles and Waratahs 1
Wattles and waratahs, along with gum blossoms and banksias, are a few of the flowers found in bushland in Australia. I found this project fie while sorting block designs, and can see potential for some modifications to the blocks in … Continue reading

Bush Garlands 1, 2
Before I bought EQ5 I drew up a heap of Australian floral garlands, and made a quilt, which sold at a charity Auction, and another smaller one for a niece. I eventually added all the various garlands to Electric Quilt, … Continue reading
