Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Brandis Street Blocks 19, 20
Moved into a house, found a dried up scrap of linoleum in a kitchen draw … and played with the shapes … and I am still playing five years later. Some of the shapes have survived quite a few mutilations, … Continue reading
Watching Grass Grow 5, 6
I posted a couple of designs from this project file early this week, and since then have spent time avoiding the sun by playing in virtual dirt, and boy, have the weeds grown. (Inside and out unfortunately!) But there is … Continue reading
Kelly’s Custom Quilts 29, 30
Mmm … nice one. I love playing with quilt designs with different shades of background fabrics instead of sashing, and it works especially well when the blocks are assorted shapes.
Beth’s Brunsvigia Quilts 19, 20
I like the first design for today … … but I love the second one! I really should play with custom settings more often.

A Spoonful of Sugar 3, 4
I don’t like this design, but I do love it! This project file is simply a recolouring of the Lovin’ Spoonful blocks, along with a few blocks getting modified slightly. Love the second one even more!
Felicity Anderson Quilts 31, 32
Love it! I don’t think I could live with the background colour, but like the way it looks. These colours include favourites pink, purple and green, but when I started this project file I thought i should try a colour … Continue reading

Lovin’ Spoonfull in the Pink 10, 11, 12
A bright version of Lovin’ Spoonful, a contrast to the original colours. Love the second design, and would like it in most colourways I can think of. Love the third, but I think my favourite of these three is the … Continue reading
Stained Glass Diamonds 6, 7, 8
Love this project file and every one of the twenty or so designs in it. The one above is one of my favourites amongst all the favourites. I am spending hours of my days at home sorting blocks, and am … Continue reading
Beaded Borders 8
I love this design. I am going to have to start cutting beads again, or what if it was just quilted? When I started quilting one of the first books I found was by Jinny Beyer on the subject of … Continue reading
