I would love to see photos of any projects using my designs.

Leave a comment below and I will contact you and you can send photo by return mail.

Please be aware that I own the copyright to these designs, and if you are unsure about what you are permitted to do please read the full notice below.

Using Virtual Quilt designs

Many of the virtual quilt designs are easy enough to copy, and if you have EQ you can recreate a design with EQ in the title by finding the blocks in the block library. If the quilt is for your yourself or a private gift no permission is required, but if you post photos on the web or exhibit the quilt I would appreciate acknowledgment as the designer.

You do require permission to sell quilts using these designs, but if you leave a comment below permission will almost always be forthcoming. All you need to do is ask.

Whatever the quilt is for I would love to see a photo. If you post it on the web somewhere, let me know so I can have a look and link to it, or leave a comment here and I will reply by email so you can attach a photo to a reply.

Judy I think your site is very interesting, and your virtual quilts are very inspirational. At my website i have been doing a little bit off virtual quilting (nothing like your) using some of the fabric i sell to give people inspiration. Would you mind if you used some of your designs and coloured them with my fabrics, i will of course quote you as the designer.
    Kind regards
    Sue

May I have your permission to reprint the Housekeeping for Quilters in our local quilt guild newsletter? I am the newsletter writer, editor and also serve as president of our guild. I like this article and I think our group would enjoy it immensely!

    Thanks

I love your Cabin Fever Christmas Edition quilt – the center looks like a flower. May I use this design photo to recreate the quilt in EQ7 for a small quilt for myself? I have had red, green and cream fabrics just waiting for the “right” Christmas quilt to come along – I think your quilt is it!

    Judy,
I would like to make the quilt you sent today, the one which looks like fireworks to me.
Would it be possible to get the details from you? I also have EQ7, but I am an absolute beginner and taking some lessons at QuiltUniversity.

Just found this site this morning very early, and we leave tomorrow for a long family visit for the holidays. Do you think I really need to sleep tonight, or could I just sit here and read? Log Cabin is my very favorite block, and yours are great. Piecefully, Gail

“The links to the current project files and patterns sheets are at the bottom of this page”. I don’t see them. Are they no longer available?

    • Susan,

      Ooops!

      Sorry.
I removed the free project file links and added a separate page for the pattern sheets and didn’t change the wording on this page. More project files will be made available in the future.

Could I please have permission to make your Drunkard’s Path design PJ1112 Whirling Every Which Way? I would exhibit it at our guild show, and at various quilt shows in our area. I would, of course, list you as the designer right on the quilt label, and would list you as designer on any entry forms. Love this design! thank you!

I would like your permission to use one of your patterns for my quilt guilds 2021 Oppertunity Quilt that we raffle off. I also hope there is a pattern to purchase. I’m new to this position, so if I’m going about this incorrectly, please let me know. Your quilts are breath-taking.
