I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

This months challenge is to try drawing simple line drawings. No shapes. No seam lines. Just lines I could embroider in stem stitch using needle and thread. Recently I found some hand embroidery blocks I had intended to make into … Continue reading
I have been sorting my virtual blocks … and finding that some of them need some work to make them neater and ready to use, and then naming them and sorting them into appropriate libraries. Along the way I found … Continue reading
A couple of days ago I shared some designs with much more elaborate sashing than is usual. I opened the project file while looking for the pieced sashing designs I had stashed away, and carried on looking, and wondering what … Continue reading
Yesterday I challenged myself to use some of the drawing tools I have rarely used. I have drawn many applique blocks but have not used some of the available tools more than a couple of times. I was wondering what … Continue reading
