Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Beaded Borders 15, 16
I like the subdued colours in this project file. Love the second design. I think it would look good in bright, or pretty, or even dramatic colour schemes, not just the subdued shown here.
String of Beads 13, 14
I love just about every String of Beads design I have ever seen, but the one above is one of the best ones. However the one above is also a contender for entry into the favorites list., but this morning … Continue reading
Beaded Borders 13, 14
This project file was started so I could play with beaded applique borders, in particular, getting around corners. String of beads, no matter how I tangle them up, are my favourite traditional style applique quilts to play with virtually, as … Continue reading
Beaded Border 11, 12
Love just about every String of Beads quilt design I have seen, including the one above. And the one below!
Beaded Borders 9, 10
I love playing with virtual beads … and love the results. Love the simplicity of the straight lines of beads, and also the double swag border.
Beaded Borders 8
I love this design. I am going to have to start cutting beads again, or what if it was just quilted? When I started quilting one of the first books I found was by Jinny Beyer on the subject of … Continue reading
Beaded Border 7
Love it. I wish I had time to go through every project file and try two or three colour combinations for each design I have saved. I need several more life times, because the few times I have tried that, … Continue reading

Beaded Border 6
We can all see the applique shapes, but part of my brain is seeing quilting lines … and I love both views!

Simple and elegant … love it. Love each of those borders every time I use them in a virtual design.
Beaded Borders 5
Playing with fabric beads and border designs … a project file dedicated to making the String of Beads go around the corners nicely! Love it!
