Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Iron Lace Borders Q’n’A 17, 18
Lots of room for background fillers, though the quilted border shown would be in a thread to match the applique colour. Minimal applique, but with the added quilting I think it would have maximum effect.

I like this idea … but would add quilting lines echoing the shapes of the applique and quilting with thread to match the background fabric. I like the second design too, though it looks more like a throw rug than … Continue reading

I love the first design for today. I rather like the second too.
Iron Lace Borders Q’n’A
Interesting. I like to leave space around applique blocks. This design has just eight applique blocks which leaves room for quilting to be showcased. I would perhaps use a more subdued thread colour in a real quilt, and the blank … Continue reading
Iron Lace Borders Q’n’A 9
Interesting. After downloading Electric Quilt 8 I started changing project files from EQ7 to the upgraded version. I think I have almost reached the end of that road, as I think I have changed nearly all of the projects where … Continue reading

Iron Lace Borders Q’n’A 8
Some applique, some quilting … lots of space for some boring filler designs.

Some applique, some feature quilting, … and maybe a bit of background quilting … I like it!

I love this series … some applique, quilt around the outline, then use the same design series to add quilting to the open spaces. If you want more quilting, do it in thread to match the background fabric … with … Continue reading
