Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Patricia’s Patches OP 9, 10
On point setting, quilting motifs based on applique blocks filing empty spaces. That’s the way I like to see quilts. What I don’t like seeing are pieced and applique blocks quilted over with an unrelated motif which does nothing to … Continue reading

Love the first design. Like the second one too. I like the border colours in the first more than the second.

Very interesting design. Nice arrangement for a smaller quilt.
Patricia’s Patches 19, 20
Very interesting applique designs create a very interesting quilt design mixed with pieced blocks. Love the second design.
Patricia’s Patches OP 17, 18
I love the stars in the outer row of the fist design, and around the centre. Love all of the second design, though I would replace the stars with the ones I like from the frist design.
Patricia’s Patches OP 7, 8
I love the first design! This project file could almost double as a Christmas collection with the red, green and gold colour scheme.
Patricia’s Patches Quilted 27, 28
I love the first design … sort of old fashioned but not a copy of the old styles. Neither of today’s designs have pieced blocks, though others in the project file do. Love the second one too.
Patricia’s Patches OP 15, 16
This project file uses the same blocks as yesterday’s designs, but with different fabrics and set on point. Not many of the blocks are repeated in these particular quilt designs, but I love that they look so different with the … Continue reading

Interesting mix of pieced and applique blocks. Colours a re a bit dull, but I like them. Like the second one better than the first … looks much fresher with that touch of green.

Patricia’s Patches OP 4, 5, 6
Regular visitors have probably noticed that I have a preference for rather old fashioned style quilt designs … and the one above is one of them. Too many pieces, not enough applique in the second one, but I do like … Continue reading
