Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Jam 101, 102, 103, 104, 105
Middle of another week already! Every week I show some Log Cabin designs, and pretty much every week I think of something different I should try. This week I am thinking that I really should start a new file with … Continue reading
Log Jam 96, 97, 98, 99, 100
Mid week again already, so time to share some Log Cabin designs. I like the on point square in the centre of the first design for this week. The second one has an interesting centre, but I don’t like it … Continue reading
Log Jam 91, 92, 93, 94, 95
This project file has lots of designs using one block in three colour variations … two of them in the first design. Even with the exact block variations in each design there are many possible variations in the way they … Continue reading
Log Jam 86, 87, 88, 89, 90
I like it! Colours are not inspiring, but the design works. Don’t like this one as much as the first one! That is better! Not my favourite! And the last one for this week’s Log Cabin Mid Week Retreat is … Continue reading
TNT Log Jam 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
Middle of the week, which means it is time to share Log Cabin design quilts again. I love twisting and turning blocks just to see what happens. It is rare that I don’t save what happens, though I have to … Continue reading
Log Jam 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
Colours are not all that appealing, but I love a couple of designs I am sharing today, including the one above. I love the one above simply because it is made up of traditional Log Cabin blocks, half light, half … Continue reading
Log Jam 76, 77, 78, 79, 80
It is mid week again, which means time for a very short retreat from the world at large to look at some Log Cabin designs. I like the windmill in the centre of the one above. All the blocks are … Continue reading
Log Jam 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
Keeping with the theme of old project files, here are some old Log Cabin designs … … some all light and all dark blocks with traditional half and half blocks. The one above is something you could do if you … Continue reading
Log Jam 61, 62, 63, 64, 65
I have shown a lot of pretty, feminine designs lately, so today I am sharing something different, and more suitable for the rough and tumble for a family of boys. Two nearly the same above and below. I suspect that … Continue reading
Log Jam 56, 57, 58, 59, 60
This project series was an off shoot from one of several which were growing like topsy when I first started sharing Log Cabin designs. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep up the supply of designs for … Continue reading
