Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Court 96, 97, 98, 99, 100
Middle of another week, which means time to take a little time out to look at some Log Cabin variation quilt designs. I like the first one of today’s selelction. More traditional arrangement of fabrics in the second one, otherwise … Continue reading
Log Court 86, 87, 88, 89, 90
I tried to limit the size of this project file by using only a 5 x 5 setting. Just twenty five blocks, and as many variations of Log Cabin blocks as I can find by mixing up the placement of … Continue reading
Log Court 81, 82, 83, 84, 85
I might have to spend some time playing in this project file as there are just two designs left to share. I think I might have to change some fabrics too. Until I started playing with this project file initially … Continue reading
Log Court 76, 77, 78, 79, 80
Not a lot of variety in the five virtual quilts for this weeks mid week retreat. Just a subtle change to create the second design from the first Much bigger change for the one above … … but much less … Continue reading

Middle of the week again … not too sure what happened during the last week … perhaps somebody just scribbled it off the calendar. Love the design above! These designs would be OK as small quilts, or large quilts, depending … Continue reading

Log Court 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70
Don’t know what I was thinking when I designed this batch! I suspect that I am viewing through eyes which have been concentrating on selecting fabrics for a new series, and those fabrics are nothing like this collection. But … Continue reading

Like it … … not so much. Like it … … not so much. This one is my favourite Log Cabin this week … and it came about when I was playing with the two designs above which I didn’t … Continue reading

Interesting. Like it! The third would make a striking wall hanging. Like the star which is hiding in there.
Log Court 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60
Back to normal transmission …. and as it is the middle of the week I have some designs featuring one of the variations of the Log Cabin block. This series uses Courthouse Steps, which is constructed by adding the strips … Continue reading

Six designs using Courthouse Steps blocks … you might even find some with the usual half light, half dark combination of fabrics. All the blocks are constructed in the same way, just tha fabrics used in each block are … Continue reading
