I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

The Log Cabin designs this week are good candidates for foundation piecing, though I don’t think you would need a foundation for the solid blocks around the edge of the first one. The second one has a few set in … Continue reading
Love it! Today’s designs are all very similar, with the colour placement being the most noticeable changes. Middle one is the design which is rather different to the other four. Love the one above too … the centre could be … Continue reading

I thought the weeks were passing very quickly during the last few weeks of frantic packing. Now they are passing even more quickly during the first six weeks of unpacking. At least I get to take a longer break in … Continue reading
Thank goodness it is Wednesday, middle of the week, so I can retreat … after the last couple of weeks I need to retreat from food, family and friends for some quiet times. (It was fun while it lasted though!) … Continue reading
Another way to use Baby Blocks. Start with a diamond, add strips on all sides, just like Log Cabin, but with the angles changed. Interesting results … like the floating points around the outside. Start with a triangle, and add … Continue reading
I didn’t expect to find many variations using this layout … but have nearly 50 and I haven’t starting playing with the colours within the blocks yet! Love the way the outer strip disappears into the background! Apart from using … Continue reading
Interesting! The one above and the next two are the same design with the colours shuffled around a bit. I like the first of the variations ,,, the one above not so much. Like the third variation. Still the same … Continue reading
