Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Log Applique Album 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
I don’t usually like blues, but I like this lot of designs … and they are all pale blue with white. It must have something to do with the applique, as I love applique. For some reason even the flowers … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Log Cabin quilts have military precision in the placing of the pieces, add some dainty applique and they immediately look more dainty all over. The precision is still there but certainly allows the soft touch to shine. Love the design … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
It is blue, which is my least favourite colour, but I like it anyway. In fact, I like all of today’s designs, despite the blue! In this project file I wanted to try using Log Cabin blocks instead of sashing … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Found an old project file which had few designs by comparison to most, and those that were there needed attention, so saved five for today, then retired the project. I like the challenge of trying to find suitable applique to … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Nothing like a favourite holiday … of just one day … to get us out of routine. Today is Wednesday, and it is nearly over and I have just remembered that I should have shared some Log Cabin designs for … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
I found a long lost group of designs started in EQ5, and thought I should share some of them. Most quilts which combine applique with Log Cabin blocks have the applique on the light side of the Log Cabin block, … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
Pretty blue, pretty designs. I like this one! The one above is nice …. … but much nicer with applique in the centre. The last for the day is a variation on the second … I think I will tweak … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
It is the middle of the week, and we have some Log Cabin blocks, plus some applique. I think I should have added some more colour to the centre of this first one … it looks like there is a … Continue reading
Log Applique Album 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Five very similar pieced designs today … … but with some applique to add variety. I would love to see more Log Cabin quilts with applique added, using all light, or all dark blocks as a background for the applique. … Continue reading

Log Applique Album 6
This is one way of using some applique blocks when you run out of enthusiasm for applique. Or perhaps using up some Log Cabin blocks when you run out of enthusiasm for piecing Log Cabin Blocks!
