I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and un-seen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ6 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Stunning … even if I say so myself! Love the second design too. I have to admit that this morning I opened this project file and there were no designs I had not already shared. It took just a few … Continue reading
In the right fabrics the first one might look like something made by a very artistic spider! Love the second one! I have been sitting here for five minutes wondering what colours I would use if I was to make … Continue reading
Some of the designs in this project file could be renamed Drunkard’s Path … … or perhaps Drunkard’s Waltz. Waltzing in the Cabin perhaps! Wow! I like them all. More next week, mid week, for your five minute coffee break … Continue reading
While I was converting this project file to EQ8 I added some more designs for future reference. That is why I love Electric Quilt, and have done so since EQ5. The most important thing to learn about Electric Quilt is … Continue reading
This is a very interesting project file to play with … but then every Log Cabin block variation, when combined with other Log Cabin block variations, makes for a lot of interest. Love the one above. Dramatic! Interesting! A couple … Continue reading
Interesting. Love the second. Interesting. Love it. Interesting. I think I fell into a pattern with my reaction to the the individual designs today. Another mid week retreat over … until next week, mid week.
I am still surprised how well the curves work in this project file. Especially when those curves are created using straight lines. I am not sure why I saved the one above, except that it is a great starting point … Continue reading
Log Cabin blocks are constructed with squares and rectangles … no curves … but with a bit of a twist to some of the variations of the basic design we can make spiderwebs. Or perhaps it is just tying shapes … Continue reading
Looks like a stack of crowns in each corner. Perhaps we could have this Log Cabin mid week retreat in a palace. Much more conventional layout, but not the usual blocks. Like this one! Love it! Worthy of being surrounded … Continue reading
