Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Nice one. This is the final installment from the City Courthouse project file, but I suspect that these blocks may appear in a new colourway sometime in the future. Wow! When you can get results like the one above by … Continue reading

Another week flying by, so time for a mid week break . This project ran out of designs, but a few more have been found to round out the total number of designs to 100. The designs in this project … Continue reading
City Courthouse 91, 92, 93, 94, 95
I wonder why it takes so long for the end of the week to arrive, but the middle of the week seems to happen before Monday is over! At least we can take a few minutes out of Wednesday to … Continue reading
City Courthouse 86, 87, 88, 89, 90
The first three designs for this weeks Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat are very similar. Eight blocks have changed for the second design. Just four blocks changed for the one above. I am not going to try to count the … Continue reading

Middle of the week again, so take a few minutes to retreat from the rest of the world and look at some Log Cabin quilt designs. Love the one above, and the one below too. Every time I open this … Continue reading

Another mid week retreat in 2018 already! Love the one above … all that gold! Interesting change, but like the one before it more. Still like the one with all that gold, but love trying slightly different variations … though … Continue reading
City Courthouse 71, 72, 73, 74, 75
Yet another week has rolled on by! I have learned over the last three months that ‘retire’ means that you get tired, take a break, then get tired again, but at long last I can see where my sewing machine … Continue reading
City Courthouse 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
Courthouse Steps is a variation of the Log Cabin block … the difference between the two is that to piece a Log Cabin block, you work around the centre square, to piece a Courthouse Steps block you work on opposite … Continue reading
City Court 61, 62, 63, 64, 65
Today I have opened up one of my favourite Log Cabin project files to find some designs to share. I think these would look OK on a bed … … or maybe on the floor of a large hallway! The … Continue reading
City Courthouse 56, 57, 58, 59, 60
I would like the top right and bottom left as tiled floors, or maybe a mat Mind you, they would need a pretty large, empty space in the middle of a room to be seen to advantage! Too many points … Continue reading
