Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Cabin Fever 106, 107, 108, 109, 110
I should have visited this project file about a month ago! Let’s hope I don’t need to update it too often! This project has an almost unlimited supply of Log Cabin blocks which have only one thing in common … … Continue reading
Cabin Fever 106, 107, 108, 109, 110
This project file has several variations of Log Cabin blocks which I mix up to create an ever growing collection of designs. I would find it much more interesting to make four identical versions of block a, plus four each … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Isolation Area 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Middle of another week … or hump day … it is all downhill to the weekend now! I started this project file because I had added over 150 to the Cabin Fever project. I got little carried away with the … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Quilted 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Middle if the week, time for a short coffee break looking at some Log Cabin quilt designs … and this week they are virtually quilted. I prefer to quilt enough to hold the layers together, but not too much. Too … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Isolation Area 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Interesting design to start this weeks mid week Log Cabin retreat. Those light markings look a bit like the lightning we had yesterday and overnight. The one above looks a bit like some weird tool I might find in our … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 36, 37, 38, 39, 40
Most of Australia does not get snow, but it is our best chance of getting a white Christmas, and enjoy a roast turkey dinner, so there are plenty of ways to celebrate Christmas in July in different ways to our … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Quilting 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Another mid week Log Cabin Retreat … already. For the one above you could make the blocks from all light fabrics … or just add a plain back to a more conventional Log Cabin quilt. The possibilities are endless! The … Continue reading
Cabin Fever 101, 102, 103, 104, 105
This is the Log cabin project file where I wish I had changed the fabrics for a more attractive combination … I love just about every design, and the collection of designs keeps growing. Love, love, love the one above. … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Isolation Area 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Log Cabin variations means it must be Wednesday. The title of this project file came about when I decided that the file named Cabin Fever was getting too big, so started another one with the same blocks, and same fabrics … Continue reading
Cabin Fever Quilting 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
The only reason to make a Log Cabin quilt using all light coloured fabric would be to show off the quilting design. Of course, you can also show off the quilting design if you just use creative quilting on the … Continue reading
