Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Black and Gold Logs and Lilies 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
Someone has stolen a day … I am sure today is Wednesday, but the calendar and the computer tell me it is Thursday! So I am publishing my mid week Log Cabin collection of designs today, as today is Wednesday … Continue reading
Black and Gold Logs and Lillies 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
There’s an idea! Don’t piece a Log Cabin quilt … just quilt it! Something to think about though … what colours would you use on the quilt top if you did piece it? Something to consider is doubling up Log … Continue reading
Black and Gold Logs and Lilies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
A collection of layouts suitable for Log Cabin blocks, and some variations of lily motifs … … and time to play is all I need to design some virtual whole cloth Log Cabin quilts. Just turning everything inside out is … Continue reading
Black and Gold Log Cabin 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
Maybe it is really the back of a black and gold quilt, or the front of a whole cloth quilt using Log Cabin blocks as a quilting design rather than a pieced block pattern. I like both sides of that story … Continue reading
Black and Gold Log Cabin 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
This is what the back of these quilts would look like … if you did the Log Cabin blocks in the usual way for the other side. Some of the design could be appliqued as well. However, these could all … Continue reading
Black and Gold Log Cabin 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15
I don’t know which way I would prefer to see these designs … … on the back of a Log cabin quilt … … or the front of a whole cloth quilt. I like the second on best … and would … Continue reading
Black and Gold Log Cabin 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10
This series is showing what a Log Cabin quilt might look like on the back. The Log Cabin blocks have been quilted in or near the ditch on the dark side, maybe almost all over, but sometimes a motif is used, … Continue reading
