Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

I should have used green for Irish, but Tangled Irish Chain Blues had a better ring to it … and I was trying to make myself use blue in my designs. This is one of many of my project files … Continue reading

Tangled Irish Chain Blues 34
There are three Irish Chain blocks, Single Irish Chain, Double Irish Chain and Triple Irish Chain, and there are the associated joining blocks. Mix them all together and things can get really tangled!

I love mixing blocks in ways they were not designed to mix! The blocks used in this series include all the Irish Chain blocks, including the blocks used in alternate squares as joins in the chains. Second one, same as … Continue reading

Not my most inspiring design. Looks like a good utility quilt … the sort you could take on a picnic and not worry too much about it getting dirty.

Simple, clean and very stylish … would look good in bright modern colours too. And lots of room for quilting
