Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

I like the first design with some busy areas, and some open spaces. I like the second one too, and it is my favorite for today.

I am wondering if I would applique or piece the curves, and if applique, hand or machine. I would hand applique the fine lines, so I guess I would do the same for the heavy ones.

Very pretty. Also very pretty, and probably my favourite of the two designs.

For me this brings back memories of the day I started Virtual Quilter. A lot of virtual quilts have had their day in the spotlight since then! The second one is different, but I like it, though the first one … Continue reading

Love the centre of the first design, but I think the Double Wedding Rings in the corners are too dark. Variation, and the corners are too dark in this one too. What an amazing world it is after coffee when … Continue reading

This series started with some ideas about changing Double Wedding Ring blocks, and moved on until there were no Wedding Rings in sight. I like the first … … and love the second. Just a bit of playing with blocks … Continue reading

The first design I shared as the Virtual Quilter was Wedding in Pompeii, and this is one of the project files which grew from that first one. I think I add more designs than I share to the file every … Continue reading

Love it … even if very little is required other than outlining applique. A little bit more quilting required in the second after outlining the applique, and I like it all except for the corners of the outer border.
After Pompeii OP 29, 30
Busy, busy , busy! Not overly impressed by the border, but I like the rest of the design. A little bit of blank space for the eyes to rest, and I like the busy parts of the second design.
