I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

The first design for the day is interesting, but the standout feature is the centre … it is made up of five pieced blocks and four plain squares, but looks like one block. Or perhaps I need another coffee this … Continue reading
Small blocks in these designs, so there are a lot of them in large quilts. I think I prefer the first one, but it is a close contest between these two!
When I added quilting motifs to the Dear, Dear, Dear project, I had to change the background for the quilting lines to show up clearly in Electric Quilt … and I like it! Second design is interesting. I like the … Continue reading
Not the best background fabric, but an interesting design. Like the second one despite the background fabric. I think I might find some time to change the background fabric in this project file … at least doing a few at … Continue reading
I like it. I would not enjoy making all those tiny blocks, but would be happy to live with the results. I wonder why I changed the quilting design for one block in the outer row!
Oops! We have been off the grid for a week, relying on renewable power and a dodgy generator … decided there were more important things than the Virtual Quilter keeping up with a virtual quilt design every day … but … Continue reading
I have no ambitions to ever even contemplate making a Dear Jane quilt, but there is a slight possibility I might, in a moment of madness, contemplate making something like this.
I love this. It looks very traditional without being a reproduction.
Love it! Note that I would quilt the light patches with a light thread and simple straight lines as a contrast to the rest of the quilting in a contrast thread.
Small blocks like the Dear Jane quilt, but with block designs repeated. Endless possibilities!
