I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Fifty three little applique blocks, plus lots of quilting, make a large quilt! These designs were inspired by Dear Jane quilts, with lots and lots of little pieced blocks to make large quilts, but the blocks were all different designs. … Continue reading
Lots of little blocks equals lots of design possibilities! I love the second design, but if I was going to make it, I would spend a lot of time swapping colours.
Interesting. In brighter colours it would look like somebody was celebrating something. I like the second one, though I have just noticed one block should have been replaced … but looking again, I would replace all the other blocks in … Continue reading
Love the spaces left for quilting. Maybe a bit too much space for quilting in the second design.
Smaller blocks means lots more piecing, but a lot of scope for playing with blocks to create interesting designs. Also adds more variety to the quilting motifs based on the blocks.
The first design for the day is interesting, but the standout feature is the centre … it is made up of five pieced blocks and four plain squares, but looks like one block. Or perhaps I need another coffee this … Continue reading
Small blocks in these designs, so there are a lot of them in large quilts. I think I prefer the first one, but it is a close contest between these two!
When I added quilting motifs to the Dear, Dear, Dear project, I had to change the background for the quilting lines to show up clearly in Electric Quilt … and I like it! Second design is interesting. I like the … Continue reading
