Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Christmas Forest and Tree Trims 7, 8
If it is not already out, now is the time to bring out the Christmas tree. In my case, I should bring out the rest of the trees … I still have an old wardrobe full of them!
Christmas Forest and Tree Trims
Love the Snowman border … and since part of Australia had some snow last week, much more appropriate than usual. More virtual Christmas designs will be appearing here every day until Christmas Day as part of my conversion to EQ8 … Continue reading

I am wondering how I could make a 3D tree like this … have been wondering for quite a while, and no nearer a solution yet! (As I typed that I got an idea … must make some notes … … Continue reading
Christmas Forest Throws 1, 2, 3 and 4
More of those trees … this time growing in nice neat square plots in the forest! All the designs in this project file could be thrown over the back of a couch, or perhaps as tablecloths … which we throw … Continue reading
Christmas Forest 9, 10, 11 and 12
This series is an example of how playing with a simple idea can lead to a lot of possibilities. The basic idea was to crate a Christmas tree using trees … and has led to the blocks changing shape from … Continue reading
Christmas Forest 5, 6, 7 and 8
Playing with trees to create trees … trees within trees! Adding three wrapped boxes to the bottom gives a more stable look. (Now are they just wrapped boxes or do they have something in them?) More bow decorations. Finally for … Continue reading
Christmas Forest 1, 2, 3 and 4
I love Christmas trees, and for quite a few years I had just one tree in the house, though for our first Christmas the tree finished up outside as I got hay fever from the pine. Then I bought a … Continue reading
Christmas Forest 2013
‘Tis that season … the one where we are happy and jolly … and I am trying to get my virtual world into the mood. I started a series using some of these blocks last year but I can … Continue reading
