I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.

I like it! In this series I have mixed assorted Irish Chain blocks with Burgoyne Surrounded blocks. Interesting mix.
Yesterday I said I should have added Triple Irish chain blocks to this series. So now I have! And I think they work quite well together!

Some intricate piecing for eight of the blocks (small pieces but all square or rectangular), then some pretty simple blocks for the other seventeen blocks.
I like it … not a design I can imagine making up, but interesting anyway. (Though there isn’t actually an Irish Chain block in this one.)

Looks like the Irish have the numbers in this one. But a Burgoyne Surrounded block is in the feature position.

Almost lacy! Burgoyne is surrounded, but not by Irish … but a block which is useful to mix with the Irish Chain blocks. Could be made with scrappy darks and a plain light.
