Virtual Quilts?
I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.

Stars on Ramsay Terrace 11, 12
Nice fresh green … hope it brings nice new fresh growth on garden plants, not nice fresh weeds in the garden. Love the second one.
Basic 9P Quilts 13, 14
Just two fabrics, or light and dark scraps … make 9 patch blocks in some rather different layouts, then lay them out to form abstract designs. It would be quite a challenge to sort fabrics for a scrap version of … Continue reading

Border Beauties 55, 56
I like interesting borders, and in the design above there are 4 of them! Another four interesting borders, plus a very simple atrip border which is very effective in this design.
Wattle, Gum and Banksia 1, 2
Wattle is the national flower of Australia, but it comes in many different varieties other than the Golden Wattle, though most of them have little balls of gold fluff. All of them are varieties of Acacias., species of which thrive … Continue reading

Double Wedding String of Beads 23, 24
I love playing with these simple leaf shapes, and though I have been sidelined by mixed bead shapes as well, today’s designs today have just the one shape. Who really needs lots of different shapes when one shape in a … Continue reading
Log Cabin Leaf Central 61, 62, 63, 64, 65
I should have checked the colours of the leaves on a couple of the trees in my yard before I chose the colours of the leaves in the design above! A bit more colourful. I only have two trees which … Continue reading

7 Patch Puzzle 7, 8
A few miss-coloured pieces, but I love the first design. Or perhaps the miss-coloured pieces are part of the puzzle. Quite a tangle!
Five Patch Fragments OP 13, 14
I am not a great fan of pieced quilts, but I like these designs, influenced at least a little by the applique border. Love the second one!
Wanda’s Weeds 1, 2
Today’s designs use blocks I have been playing with over the last few days, adding bits, altering bits, removing bits, and then when I tried designing the first quilt discovered I needed to do more alterations. The name of the … Continue reading
Autumn Daze Quilting 26, 27, 28
Autumn days are here, and today I hope to get my hands dirty while emptying some plant pots … I have to do some clearing of weeds first, but have made up my mind which plants to put where. I … Continue reading
