Logs at Lochiel 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

We have spent a very quiet Christmas, but a quiet coffee break to concentrate for a few minutes sounds rather nice.

I have only occasionally seen pretty colours used in Log Cabin quilts, but they can look very pretty!

The outer two rows are almost identical, but the centre has changed a lot in the second design.

Wow! Would be lovely in many colour combinations.

Nice …

… but by changing just four blocks I like it much more!

More Log Cabin designs mid week, next week.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

The third one is fabulous. You are right about log cabins not usually being in “pretty” colors but in bold or scrappy or darker colors. I wonder why?
