Black and Gold Logs and Lillies 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and a Challenge

I see this series as the back view of Log Cabin quilt … but I wonder what colours would be on the front.

If you look closely the blocks are not the regular Log Cabin blocks, but Curved Log Cabin, and if you look even closer, some of the blocks have the curves on the opposite side of the blocks.

Now I am wondering what these designs would look like with colour added … I guess my personal challenge will be to add some contrast to these designs in between bouts of gardening during the next week.

I think I will try all black on the quilted side so the quilting will be visible as it is on the all black backing.

I hope you will join in the challenge, and I look forward to seeing your efforts as much as I am looking forward to seeing what results I get.

I like the fourth design today … and am wondering if I will still like it with some contrast colours added.

I really love the first and second ones today. Doing the applique in color would be amazing!
