Love it, despite the dirty looking colours. Love the strip borders too.
However, I have found that what I see on my screen is different to what is printed out by my printer … and neither of them look like what appears on the blog.
Love the second one too.
I have spent vey little time playing with quilt designs in the last week or two, but I have been learning to use one of Electric Quilts features … being able to import pictures and trace them onto a block, except that I am tracing patterns for rag dolls I used to make so I can print a nice, clean pattern. Now I have learned to do that part, I now have to add directions, labels etc!
Rag dolls! How fun, Judy! 🙂

Laura,
They are fun! And they helped pay for a lot of fabric, and supplied some pocket money for a daughter who was in uni at the time, as well as helping me make friends all over the state with doll workshops often combined with quilting classes.

I really like the second design. I think it is cool that you can EQ for other things. I have heard of people using it for planning out room layouts as well

Cindy,
The colours do look a bit dirty, but I prefer to think along the lines of old quilts which have been used for a large portion of their existence!
I have used EQ to try to arrange furniture in several of our shifts, though a couple of the houses I didn’t see until the night before the removal truck arrived! also used it to design a couple of cub logos, including a golf club!
