Bundaleer Logs 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 plus Challenge

How many ways can you arrange a collection of Log Cabin blocks with some traditional half light, half dark, some all dark, some all light?

As you can see by the numbers in the title, today’s selection from this project file the number will reach 35variations, which is about half way through the designs I have saved so far.

The Challenge part of the title today is usually reserved for a weekend, but I have been away and will be busy for the first two weekends of this month.

So this months your challenge is to play with Log Cabin quilt designs using the three colour placement variations I listed above.

If you are new to Electric Quilt you can start with blocks in the Block Library … no need to draw anything … then play with some fabrics from the fabric Library to get the light and dark effect.

I like the fourth design today, but I think both of the last two designs would look better with a dark diamond in the centre, using four tradition light/dark Log Cabin Blocks.

Enjoy looking at this weeks Log Cabin Quilt designs, then try you hand at designing some of your own.

By the way, the Electric Quilt Company has released a new update for Electric Quilt 8, which will be compatible with the Block Base add on which will be released very soon.

About Virtual Quilter
